Shawn has spent over 20 years working in the search business and has developed a strong sense of client and candidate relationship development. His recruiting focus is on power management and analog/mixed signal and helping client’s build successful technology and executive teams in the semiconductor space. Clients include young emerging startups and Fortune 500 companies. He has a keen understanding of the recruiting process and is very detail oriented, which both hiring managers and candidates appreciate. His mission is to build “World-Class” design organizations and strong management teams. He is also focused on helping individuals achieve their short- and long-term career goals, with the goal of creating long-term relationships.
He was trained and mentored by Gary Fowler early in his career, who is one of the most successful Executive Recruiters in the Semiconductor space. Shawn has instilled the philosophy of “Our Relationships Make a Difference” and believes this is what sets Analog Solutions apart.

The success of Analog Solutions rests squarely upon our Founder and President, Gary Fowler. Gary began his career in 1982 after being an Air Traffic Controller for several years and was fortunate to work with the Founders of Apple Computer, Sun Microsystems, NeXT Computer, Broadcom, Marvell Semiconductor, Synaptics, Monolithic Power Systems, Cirrus Logic, Silicon Labs and others. A former Management Recruiters International “Nation’s Top Ten” Recruiter, he formed Analog Solutions in 1986 to establish an organization that could meet the needs of his clients in a more direct and effective way. His commitment, drive, and integrity are second to none.
With more than 40 years of recruiting experience, Gary’s leadership and recruiting skills have inspired many recruiters covering a variety of disciplines. He has been on several “Top Producer” panels at recruiting seminars and conferences and is currently a frequent guest columnist for the EE Times-Planet Analog site, where he writes about industry trends.
Gary’s clients over the years have included multiple Fortune 500 companies as well as many emerging startups. He has been responsible for assembling world-class technology and Executive teams in the Analog and Mixed-signal Semiconductor world for more than 40 years – his network of contacts in the analog space is second to none. He also created the industry’s first career site, www.careeranalog.com, in 1998. He holds a BS in human resources management from NYU and an MS in management science from SUNY Binghamton.

With 20 years of experience in emerging technologies, he has spent the majority of his career focused on building win/win recruiting scenarios for client and candidate partners across the global semiconductor and consumer electronic industries. From cultivating small startup teams through successful IPO or acquisition to building world-class design teams for industry-leading public companies, his goal is to continue growing and maintaining valuable relationships based on mutual trust and collective results.
